ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to change the patta in the name of the petitioner which was unlawfully changed in the name of the erst while owner in Survey No.138/3A2.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that originally the petitioner's father purchased the property in the year 1944. Subsequently, patta was changed in the name of the petitioner's brother, namely Rajan. It is further contended that the third respondent's brother-in-law's name was entered during the UDR scheme. The said entry was wrongfully made by the respondents.

3. When a UDR mistake is committed, the DRO has to consider the same and pass appropriate orders. In the present case, the DRO has already considered the matter and passed an order on 03.02.2017, wherein it was stated that the UDR entry shall be deleted and the earlier position may be restored. However, the said order was not implemented. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. The second respondent / Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's representation in the light of the order of dated 03.02.2017 and pass appropriate 2/4

orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
