ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the respondent to survey the land situated at S.No.256 of Kattalankulam village, Tuticorin Registration District, Pudukottai Sub Registrar office jurisdiction, measuring a total extent of 13 cents based on his representation dated 01.12.2014.

3.It is seen that the petitioner has already approached the respondent by way of his representation dated 01.12.2014 for surveying and fixing boundaries of his land. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed for the aforementioned relief. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits and contentions of the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner as well as other parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
