Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India to pass an order of speedy disposal of I.A. No. 2/2020 in O.S. No. 302/2014 pending on the file of the learned District Munsif Melur, Madurai District.

ORDER

To pass an order of speedy disposal of I.A. No. 2/2020 in O.S. No. 302/2014 pending on the file of the learned District Munsif, Melur, Madurai District, the revision petitioner has filed this Civil Revision Petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3.The revision petitioners/defendants have filed a petition in I.A.No.2 of 2020 to re-open the case for evidence on their side. The first revision petitioner is aged about 76 years. After filing this revision petition, the respondent/plaintiff has endorsed that 'No counter' in I.A.No.2 of 2020. Thereafter, the matter is posted for enquiry on 03.06.2022.

4.Since I.A.No.2 of 2020 is pending from the year 2020 and the suit is pending from the year 2014, the learned District Munsif, Melur is hereby directed to dispose of I.A.No.2 of 2020 and the suit in O.S.No.302 of 2014, within three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
