PRAYER: Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, directing the 1st respondent to 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection to life and limp of the petitioner based on complaint given by the petitioner's husband in C.S.R.No.74/2025 dated 25.01.2025 and petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2025. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection to life and limp of the petitioners based on the complaint given by the petitioner's husband in C.S.R.No.74 of 2025 dated 25.01.2025 and the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2025.

According to the petitioners, there is a property dispute pending between the petitioners and respondents no.3 to 9 and thereby, a suit in O.S.No.164 of 2005 was filed and the same was decreed in favour of the petitioners. Thereafter, an execution petition was filed and same was also disposed of in favour of the petitioners. While so, the private respondents have jointly abused the petitioners in filthy language and 2/5

tried to attack the petitioners with wooden log. They have also pulled the petitioners out from the property and caused criminal intimidation, and thereby, the husband of the 1st petitioner lodged a complaint and thereafter, the 1st petitioner sent a representation dated 17.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that earlier, the 1st petitioner's husband lodged a complaint and the same was assigned C.S.R.No.74 of 2025 and thereafter, it was closed. However, the 1st petitioner sent a representation dated 17.03.2025 and the same will be considered and disposed of within one week.

4. The prayer of the petitioners is to direct the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection. Already the husband of the 1st petitioner lodged a complaint and the same was closed. However, the 1st petitioner sent a representation dated 17.03.2025 and the same is pending with the 2nd respondent. Therefore, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation dated 17.03.2025 and pass appropriate 3/5

orders in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to both the parties, within a period of fifteen [15] days from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
