This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to change and appoint any other investigation officer instead of the 2nd respondent and expediously file a final report in Cr.No.66 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that the investigation in Crime No.66 of 2016 was completed and the case has been closed as action dropped and a copy of the closure report as also been furnished to the defacto complainant and the same has already been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi.
