ORDER
Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner challenges the decision taken in the peace committee meeting on 21.02.2024.
3.I have been consistently holding that a peace committee meeting is not convened under any statutory provision and that decision taken therein has no legal value. The person breaching the same cannot be visited with any legal consequence or penalty. The petitioner can very well ignore the same.

4.With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
