O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to make appropriate entry in the village account.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the order directing issuance of patta and mutation of revenue records in the name of the petitioner based on registered sale deed in his favour, the second respondent has not made necessary consequent entries in the village account. The petitioner has also given a representation on 27.11.2024 to the 2nd respondent. Aggrieved by the inaction upon his representation, this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. In view of the above, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation to make necessary entries in the village 2/4

account based on the order, dated 15.03.1999 on the file of the Revenue Inspector, Aruppukottai Taluk. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
