ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, Y.Othakadai Police Station, Madurai District, not to harass the petitioner under the guise of holding an enquiry, in connection with the complaint allegedly lodged by one Kannan, Karuppayu, Balamurugan and Parasuraman.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent Police frequently called the petitioner to the Police Station and harassed him under the guise of enquiry in respect of a money dispute.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on instructions, would submit that the petitioner was called only for enquiry in respect of a petition pending against him and nonbailable warrant has been issued against the petitioner in C.C.No.224 of 2008 by the Court concerned.
