Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd Respondent to constitute a special team of investigation consisting of police officials not lesser than the rank of Superintendent of Police to investigate all the offences of land grabbing cheating and offences under SC/ST Act as stated in the FIR No. 175/2013 dated 08.07.2013 Sub Inspector of Police, Viraganoor.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner has come up with this petition seeking a direction to the 3rd Respondent to constitute a special team of investigation consisting of police officials not below the rank of Superintendent of Police to investigate all the offences of land grabbing, cheating and offences under SC/ST Act as stated in the FIR No.175/2013 dated 08.07.2013 Sub Inspector of Police, Viraganoor.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the case in Crime No.175/2013 was investigated thoroughly and since the allegations are found to be false, a negative report has been submitted to the competent Court on 15.02.2015. The said statement is recorded.

3. In such view of the matter, if the petitioner has got any grievance regarding the closure of the case, it is for him to work out his remedy before the competent criminal Court and in

this petition, in view of the final report filed by the respondent police, no relief can be granted. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
