This writ petition has been filed, seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent not to issue any plan approval and building permit in favour of the second respondent in respect of Door No.78, Marsingpet Road, Beema Nagar and to monitor the newly proposed building if there is any violation of the Building Rules of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Building Rules, 1972, particularly the Rule 11(4) based on the petitioner's representation on 26.08.2014.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous.
