(Crime No.227 of 2016) : Respondents/Complainants Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to secure he accused O.M.S.Sambasivam, S/o.Subramania Velalar, residing at No.4, Valavanpuram, Pattukottai, Thanjavur District, in Crime No.227 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and pass such further or other orders.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondent to secure the accused O.M.S.Sambasivam in connection with Crime No.227 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the sole accused O.M.S.Sambasivan has collected huge money from the public and issued fake receipts and the said collected amount was invested in his son's Hotel at Singapore and that the accused has not arrested by the respondent police for the past more than 5 months. Hence, he prayed that suitable direction may be given to the respondent police to secure the accused.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that in this case, the accused is yet to be arrested and the investigation is going on in a proper manner direction and hence, he prayed that the petition filed by the petitioner has to be dismissed.

4.In view of the above circumstances, this court is of the considered view that the respondent police may be directed to complete the investigation as early as possible, according to law. 5.In the result, this petition is dismissed with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report before the court concerned within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
