This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of his representation, dated 15.04.2022.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petition enquiry is pending against the respondents 3 to 5. He would further submit that the respondent police is not having jurisdiction to enquire the matter.
