O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass and to interfere with the petitioner agricultural property Survey Nos.16/3, 18/9, 20/9 in Panichakudi Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by one Vetha Muthu against the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending and it seems that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the opposite party.

4. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioner. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
