PRAYER:This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District to dispose of the C.C.No.129 of 2009 within the time fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition is filed for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District to dispose of the C.C.No.129 of 2009 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit on instructions that the long delay of disposal of the case was due to the fact that the second accused was absconding. He would further submit that now, he was secured and that therefore, the case will be disposed of within a reasonable time.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:

"The learned Judicial Magistrate, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.129 of 2009, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
