The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnor/ respondent for his willful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.25174 of 2024 dated 24.10.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Civil Side) appearing for the contemnor would submit that they have already registered a case in Crime No.94 of 2025 on 09.06.2025 against the Sub Inspector of Police, Theni District Premananth and also produced the copy of the FIR.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since FIR was registered, the contempt petition may be closed.
