ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b) 323, 307 IPC and 3(1) of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992 in Crime No.246 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The petitioner is said to have cut the defacto complainant with Aruval. It appears to be a case of simple injury and the provocation for the incident is due to a quarrel between the groups in the locality.

3.Taking into account the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

4.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
