RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition No.7 as executing a bond of Rs.10000/- with two sureties instead of two blood sureties in connection with Crl.OP(MD) No.3331 of 2021, dated 15.03.2021.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.SATHYA CHITHAMBARAM, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.DINESH BABU, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed to modify the condition No.7 as executing a bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties instead of two blood sureties in connection with Crl.O.P. (MD)No.3331 of 2021, dated 15.03.2021.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court by an order made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3331 of 2021, dated 15.03.2021 granted bail to the petitioner with a condition that the petitioner should execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two blood sureties. He further submitted that the petitioner only has his mother, who is aged about 70, to stand as blood surety and he has no other relatives and therefore, the petitioner filed the present petition seeking modification of the above said condition.

CRL MP(MD) No.3464 of 2021 3.In view of the above submission, the condition imposed by this Court by an order dated 15.03.2021 made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3331 of 2021 is modified to the extend that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the concerned Court below, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The surety need not be blood relatives. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
