O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and his staff life and liberty by considering his representation dated 09.04.2018 in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner gave a representation to the first respondent on 09.04.2018 to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and his staff life and liberty. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the said representation is still pending before the first respondent. Therefore, the first respondent shall consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

said representation, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the parties concerned.

5. In the light of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
