..Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 06.06.2018 and thereby accord permission and protection for the functions and to conduct "Adal-Padal Cultural Programme" scheduled to be held on 08.06.2018 in the village festival of the village Temple namely Arulmiku Sri Suyambu Mandu Kaliamman Temple in the Tamil month of Vaigasi, in Neikkarapatty Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 06.06.2018 has not been received so far by the respondents. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition cannot be granted. Hence, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as not maintainable.

2.In the result, this writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. No costs. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondents, if so advised.
