This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to investigate and to lay final report in Crime No.247 of 2016 dated 11.09.2016, on the file of the 2nd respondent within stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioner and harassed him under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, would submit that the petition enquiry has been conducted and subsequently, the same has been closed and a copy of the closure report has also been served to the petitioner.
