O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant appropriate permission and adequate police protection to conduct the Kabaddi Tournament from 16.06.2018 at 10.00 p.m. to 17.06.2018 at 12.00 a.m. in the Ground situated in the Village, viz., Adaikkalapattanam to Pollangulam Road, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 05.05.2018, within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 05.05.2018 to the respondents to grant appropriate permission and

adequate police protection for conducting the Kabaddi Tournament from 16.06.2018 at 10.00 p.m. to 17.06.2018 at 12.00 a.m. in the Ground situated at Adaikkalapattanam - Pollangulam Road, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District. Since no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 15.06.2018. The petitioner shall submit a copy of a representation dated 05.05.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.

6.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
