PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 1st respondent to make further investigation of the case in Crime.No. 643/2019 dated 21/10/2019 which was registered by the 3rd respondent and investigated by the 2nd respondent within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent to make further investigation of the case in Crime No. 643 of 2019 dated 21.10.2019 which was registered by the third respondent and investigated by the second respondent within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the third respondent has completed investigation in Crime No. 643 of 2019 and also closed the same as 'Mistake of Fact' and closure report was also submitted before the III Additional District and Sessions Court (PCR) Court, Madurai.

3. In view of the same, the petition stands dismissed. However the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.7419 of 2022 closure report submitted by the third respondent police in Crime No.643 of 2019 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the learned Judge is directed to pass orders on the protest petition filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks therefrom.
