O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Srivaigundam to expedite and complete the trial in M.C.No.2 of 2012 within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.V.Malaiyendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the records.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that the case in M.C.No.2 of 2012 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaigundam has been dragged unnecessarily by the respondents.

4. Having regard to the scope of the enquiry, this Court is of the view that the enquiry of the case has been dragged unnecessarily for a long time. The Diary extract pertaining to this case shows that there were several adjournments without assigning any reason. Hence , this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

"The learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaigunadam, is directed to expedite the trial and complete the same and dispose of the case in M.C.No.2 of 2012, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
