O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the 1st respondent herein not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry, without due process of law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent, on instructions, would submit that on 01.07.2020, the 2nd respondent, being the wife of the petitioner, lodged a complaint against the petitioner and after assigning CSR No.222 of 2020, due enquiry was conducted and thereafter, the petition was closed. The submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is placed on record.

3. It is made clear that now the complaint has been closed, hence the 1st respondent shall not call the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and harass him.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
