This petition has been filed to transfer investigation of the case in Crime No.58 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd Respondent to the 3rd Respondent or to some other agency other than local police for proper investigation of the case.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that the investigation in Crime No.58 of 2016 was completed and the same has been closed as "action dropped" and a copy of the closure report has been filed before the Tahsildar, Sivagangai District.
