[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the son of the detenue namely, Suriya @ Suriyaganthi, female, aged about 56 years, W/o Sekar, who has been branded as "Bootlegger" by the second respondent in C.O.C.No.06/2021 dated 30.03.2021, as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.655 of 2021 appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.2556, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XV) Department, dated 09.06.2021, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked by the Government.
3. Recording the above submissions, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
