The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to dispose of his pending appeal dated 22.12.2023. The petitioner has also given a representation on 18.12.2024. Since no action has been taken to dispose of the appeal, the petitioner has come by way of the present Writ Petition.
2.Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the appeal is posted for final hearing on 07.04.2025. 3.Considering the fact that the petitioner's appeal is pending from December, 2023, a direction is given to the first respondent to hear the appeal on merits and pass orders within a period of four [4] weeks from 07.04.2025.

3.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
