ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents police to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and her son's life and limb, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 27.10.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the present petitioner was remanded to judicial custody on 28.01.2017, in connection with Crime No.5 of 2017, for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) read with 20 (b), II(B) of NDPS Act and he filed the 2nd respondent's counter affidavit to that effect.

4. Since the petitioner is in judicial custody, no question of giving police protection to the petitioner arises. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
