Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 4 herein to issue the house tax receipts in the petitioner name and property comprised in old S.No.306, New No.316/12, situated at Thukkachi Village, Thiruvidaimarudur Union, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District after receiving the charges by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.08.2023 in accordance with law and within the time stipulated by this Court.

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner wants the petition mentioned property to be assessed in her name and house tax receipt issued accordingly. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader would inform the Court that the property is in somebody's possession. 2/4

4.I do not want to go into the merits of the matter. The fourth respondent is directed to pass order on the petitioner's representation dated 31.08.2023 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
