ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners / accused nos. 1 to 5 apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 498 (A), 406 and 506 (i) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 in Crime No.2 of 2018 and seek anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Cr. side) appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the marriage between the first petitioner and the de facto complainant took place on 14.07.2016 and that shortly thereafter the marriage was dissolved as per Muslim Law, i.e., the complaint itself is lodged after a gap of several months after the divorce took place.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would further highlight the fact that even the grandmother of the first petitioner has been falsely implicated in the First Information Report.

5.Taking note of all these aspects, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukottai and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two common sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent Police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously. 5.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
