ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to conduct an enquiry regarding the land in Survey No.84, Kannanenthal Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, and to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2025. 2/6
2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3. Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner, notice to respondents 5 to 7 is dispensed with. 4.The contention of the petitioner is that an extent of 44 ares in Survey No.84, Kannanenthal Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai, belonged to Arulmighu Sri Ayyanar Temple, as reflected in the 'A' Register. However, patta has been issued in respect of the private respondents 5 to 7. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 18.10.2025 before the authority concerned. Since no action has been taken so far, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submitted that the authority concerned 3/6
will conduct an enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
6.In such view of the matter, the authority concerned is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.10.2025, after affording sufficient opportunity for personal hearing to the petitioner, respondents 5 to 7, and any other interested parties, and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
