ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 12.11.2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 354-C and 506(i) IPC and Section 67-A of I.T.Act, 2000 in Crime No.474 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are distant relatives and the petitioner created a fake email ID in the name of the daughter of the defacto complainant and posted obscene photographs in the ID and when it was questioned by the defacto complainant, the petitioner threatened her in dire consequences and demanded Rs.15 laksh for removing those photographs from the said ID, which resulted in registration of the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on the above submission, who would submit that investigation of the case is pending .

5. Taking note of the serious nature of the offences alleged against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
