ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner / Sole Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.11.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 307 IPC r/w 3(1) of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.642 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

The case of the prosecution is the petitioner, enraged by the act of the defacto complainant / Special Sub Inspector of Police, who seized the lorry of the petitioner for having indulged in sand theft, he was dashed behind his two wheeler by this petitioner and caused injury, which resulted in registration of the case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to previous enmity, the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he had nothing to do with the alleged occurrence. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that there are three previous cases of similar in nature pending against this petitioner.

6. Taking note of the serious nature of the offences alleged against the petitioner and also considering his bad antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
