ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent pertaining to its order bearing proceeding No.Nil, dated 05.06.2018 and to quash the same with regard to the portion of the order rejecting Adal Padal programme and consequently, direct the respondents to grant permission to perform the Adal Padal scheduled to be held on 13.06.2018 from 06.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. at Arulmigu Sree Kaliamman Temple, Kailasapatti Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni district.
2.According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner made an application to conduct the cultural programme of Adal Padal scheduled to be held on 13.06.2018 from 6.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. at Arulmigu Sree Kaliamman Temple, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Kailasapatti Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District. The said application was rejected on the ground that the said programme is scheduled to be held at Theni - Periyakulam Main Road and there is a possibility of law and order problem among the communities. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will make an application by today itself to conduct the said programme at some other alternative place, which is not close to the Main Road and will not cause any hindrance to the traffic. 3.In view of the aforesaid undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner's request would be considered by the second respondent and appropriate orders will be passed on or before 13.06.2018 at 12 noon.
4.In view of the above said submission made by both the parties, the petitioner shall make a fresh application to the second respondent by today itself and thereafter, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law by taking into consideration of the conditions imposed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.7911 of 2018, dated 12.04.2018 on or before 13.06.2018 at 12 noon.
5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
