This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the respondents police to expedite the investigation in connection with Crime No.1277 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, City North Dindigul Police Station, Dindigul, Dindigul District and conclude the same within a time frame specified by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the criminal case in Crime No.1277 of 2015, was closed as mistake of fact, after enquiry and though a notice was served on the petitioner by affixing the notice, there is no proof to serve the papers on any of the adult members of the petitioner's family or the petitioner. The notice has been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate and service of notice, this Criminal Original Petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to file any petition to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law.
