O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent herein to register a case on the petitioner's complaint, dated 18.04.2018, enquire the same and file a report before the Court concerned within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, based on the assurance given by the proposed accused, she has invested a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- in the proposed accused concern. Initially, the proposed accused has given some dividend to the petitioner and hence, the petitioner has canvassed various persons and insisted them to invest the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

amount in the proposed accused concern. The proposed accused has given dividend to them upto November 2017. From December 2017 onwards, she has not given any such amount to them. Hence, the petitioner has preferred a complaint before the second respondent on 18.04.2018 seeking to register a case against the proposed accused. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's complaint, the petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the enquiry is still pending with the second respondent. 4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then, he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law, otherwise, further proceedings shall be dropped.

5. With the aforesaid directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
