Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction against the respondent to issue separate patta to the petitioner's land for an extent of 817 Square Feet in Survey No.1461/1A1A, Keelathiruthangal Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2022, within the time stipulated by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction for issuance of separate patta in his name in respect of the property having an extent of 817 Square Feet in Survey No.1461/1A1A, Keelathiruthangal Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District, based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.04.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner has enclosed a copy of the order, dated 28.03.2022, rejecting his earlier patta application for the very same property stating that it is a natham land. 3.Heard Mr.M.Ramkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner will have to challenge the order, dated 28.03.2022, rejecting the petitioner's application in the manner known to him under law.

W.P.(MD)No.7504 of 2022 6.After recording the submissions made by the respective counsels, this writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order, dated 28.03.2022, passed by the Tahsildar/respondent, rejecting the petitioner's application, seeking for issuance of patta for the very same property on the ground that the said patta is a natham land in the manner known to the petitioner under law. No costs.
