PRAYER: Criminal Original petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent to file final report by arresting the accused in Crime No.472 of 2015, dated 16.09.2015, for the offence under Sections 294(b) of IPC, Section 4 of TNPWH Act and Section 3(i) (x) of SC/ST POA Act and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file final report by arresting the accused in Crime No.472 of 2015, dated 16.09.2015, for the offence under Sections 294(b) of IPC, Section 4 of TNPWH Act and Section 3(i) (x) of SC/ST POA Act and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) on instructions submitted that the accused has filed a petition in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7928 of 2017 before this Court, to quash the First Information Report and this Court has also granted Interim Stay, by an order dated, 27.06.2017.

4. Hence, the Criminal Original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate relief by filing petition to vacate stay or otherwise.
