PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to remove the tamarind tree situated at TrichyNamakkal Highways 46/6 Kilometer, left side Tree No.5, which is standing under dangerous condition, in the light of petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2020, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner's request for removal of the petition mentioned tree has been rejected vide order dated 14.07.2020. The petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to challenge the same.

3.Liberty is granted to the petitioner. The petitioner's rights are left open. The Writ Petition stands dismissed accordingly. No costs.
