The petitioner has approached this Court that the respondent 1/4

police has not filed final report in Crime No.1014 of 2020, dated 20.12.2020 on the file of Thuckalay Police Station, Kanyakumari District.

2.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submits that investigation has already been completed and the case has been referred as ''mistake of fact''. RCS notice was also served on the petitioner. Another copy of RCS notice is also furnished to the petitioner's counsel.

3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate that the case has been closed as ''mistake of fact'', this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to file a protest petition before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court within a period of two weeks from today.
