O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to cancel the note 'Nilavial Pathway' in the revenue records and issue fresh patta.

2. The petitioner has approached the 1st respondent alleging that there has been mistake at the time of UDR survey by mentioning Nilavial Pathway in the petitioner's private patta property. The said application has been pending with the 1st respondent from 31.12.2019. To consider the same, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

In view of the above, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation in the light of the documents relied on by the petitioner and if necessary, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and also carrying out physical inspection of the subject property to find out the existence of any Nilavial pathway in the subject lands, the 1st respondent shall pass final orders on the petitioner's application within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
