O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to transfer the case in Crime No.6 of 2017 from the hands of the second respondent to any other competent Officer.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The only reason stated by the Petitioner is that the Petitioner's wife had lodged a false complaint against the Petitioner and that the Petitioner was enquired. It is the case of the Petitioner that though the Petitioner placed before the respondents-Police about the pendency of divorce petition and other particulars, the Petitioner's wife demanded a sum of Rs.10 lakhs, even during the pendency of enquiry.

4.The statement of the Petitioner is stoutly denied by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondentPolice. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that enquiry was almost over and final report is ready and likely to be filed tomorrow. It is at the fag end of investigation, the petitioner has approached this Court for transfer of his case. 5.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original petition is closed, as the Petitioner has sought for transfer at the fag end of the investigation.
