ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 465 and 468 IPC in Crime No.645 of 2020,seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, who is the Village Administrative Officer, along with the Thasildhar had transferred the Government lands to the ineligible persons. Therefore, the present case came to be registered. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner, who is a Government servant, along with other accused had transferred the Government lands to the ineligible persons. He further submitted that the investigation is yet to be completed.

5.It is seen that the petitioner allotted the Government lands to the ineligible persons by misusing his authority. Therefore, this Court is of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary in this case to complete the investigation and for filing of the final report. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
