Respondent PRAYER :- Criminal Original Petition is filed to set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.42 of 2026 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Court, Sivagangai dated 06.01.2026 and modify the condition that the petitioner's photograph and Aadhar Card or Bank Passbook copy shall also be obtained while considering the sureties imposed upon the petitioner in Crl.MP.No.2925 of 2025 passed by the Principal Sessions Court, Sivagangai, dated 19.12.2025.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to set aside the order in Crl.M.P.No.42 of 2026 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Sivagangai dated 06.01.2026 and prays to modify the condition imposed in Crl.MP.No.2925 of 2025, dated 19.12.2025 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Sivagangai. 2.Considering the averments stated by the petitioner in the petition that he has neither Aadhar Card nor Bank Pass Book in his favour, he has only old Ration Card in his name, this Court directed the respondent Police to verify the said fact.

3.On verification, the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner is residing in the address mentioned in the old Ration Card submitted by the petitioner and he is not having Aadhar Card or Bank Pass Book in his name.

4.In view of the above, this Court is inclined to ● set aside the order in Crl.M.P.No.42 of 2026 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Sivagangai dated 06.01.2026; and ● modify the condition imposed in Crl.MP.No.2925 of 2025, dated 19.12.2025 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Sivagangai to the effect that the petitioner shall produce his old ration card at the time of execution of sureties. ● The other conditions imposed in Crl.MP.No.2925 of 2025, dated 19.12.2025 shall remain intact.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered. 15.04.2026 PNM TO
