This Criminal Original petition has been filed for a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel to expedite the trial pending in C.C.No.5 of 2008, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.Having regard to the fact that the case is pending for more than 9 years and the 'B' diary extract indicates no reasonable cause for the long delay.
