PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to issue the 'Hindu Pandi' (Scheduled Caste) community certificate to the petitioner's son, namely C.Naveen Kumar based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2024 on the basis of the community certificate issued to his near blood relative for the betterment of his future education purpose within a time stipulated by this Court.

(Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2.By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The petitioner claims that he has sent a representation to the official respondents herein on 19.11.2024 seeking issuance of community certificate to the petitioner's son. But till today, the representation of the petitioner is kept pending without any progress.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner either in the representation or in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.11.2024 by giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
