Respondent/Respondent Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents to direct the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sivagiri to conduct speedy trial and to dispose of C.C.No.115 of 2016, dated 09.03.2016 as expeditiously as possible considering the petitioner's old age.

O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sivagiri, to complete the trial in C.C.No.115 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible.

2. Mr.M.Sathiamoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 72 years and he has filed a private complaint against the petitioner for dis-honour of cheque for value of Rs.10,00,000/-. Although, the complaint was filed on 09.03.2016 and the accused entered appearance on 05.05.2016, subsequently, the case is being adjourned without any progress and the same caused mental to the petitioner.

3. Considering the said submission, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri, is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.115 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
