O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records of the proceedings in Crime No.812 of 2016, on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3.On the basis of the complaint received from the second respondent, the case was registered by the first respondent against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 of IPC., and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of Women Act in Crime No.812 of 2016. The petitioner has filed the present Criminal Original Petition to quash the First Information Report.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions would submit that the final report in Crime No.812 of 2016 has already been filed on 07.06.2016. It is also represented that though the final report was returned for some defects and the respondent police have taken some effective steps to rectify the defects and to take the Charge sheet on file.

5. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the charge sheet. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
