RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time granted to the petitioner for surrender before the Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi, Pudukottai District in Crl.OP. (MD).No.5128 of 2020 dt.24.3.2020 and pass such other order as this Honble Court.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.SATHYA CHIDAMBARAM, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to execute the sureties and surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that earlier this Court by an order, dated 24.03.2020 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner on condition to surrender https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.3546 of 2020 before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks. Due to the pandemic situation, he is not in a position to appear before the concerned Court and produce the sureties.

3. Considering the request, time granted by this Court vide order dated 24.03.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.5128 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
