This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to instruct the second respondent to register the complaint dated 19.01.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the complaint dated 19.01.2016 has been sent by post. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to go in person and lodge a fresh a complaint containing the same contents as found in the complaint dated 19.01.2016 to the second respondent police and on receipt of such complaint, the same can be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law.
